Item Description
Sharp, water-clear gemmy Calcite with an elongated, prismatic habit reminiscent of the Chinese calcites that came out early this century. All the faces are perfectly glassy, and seem slightly twisted even. Place it on an image, and you will see that the classic carbonate double refraction is perfect. The top terminations has a slight contact point atop, but that does not detract at all from the quality or aesthetics of this crystal. It is really stunning, and uniquely formed. Even better in person.
