Item Description

Gem-like, highly lustrous, amber to colorless, calcite scalenohedrons and modified rhombohedrons are richly and aesthetically scattered on the LARGE CABINET matrix on this striking specimen from recent finds in China. The stunning large, amber, calcite is 4.3 cm and is doubly terminated. All of the major calcites are pristine and a bit of modest periphery wear is certainly not a detraction. The back and one side have been sawed to enhance the display quality. Excellent material from this noted locale.
