Item Description

A classic specimen of golden scalenohedral Calcite crystals with sharp, lustrous faces and great form. The crystal sits on a matrix of white/grey Dolomite with Pyrite and iridescent Chalcopyrite. Some of the Calcites are actually doubly-terminated, and show nearly water-clear gem quality in some areas. The largest Calcite crystal is 3.7 cm long. Not nearly as common on the market as they once were, and are easily some of the most well known American Calcite specimens extant.
