Item Description

A sparkling, treelike, biological looking cluster of curving stalactites makes this a stunning example of these famous, classic calcites from Mexico. Found from the 1980s until recently, each pocket varies somewhat and is slightly different in sparkle and form from others. This is a particularly nice, and dramatic style that would likely be from the 1980s or early 1990s, from the Kurt Hefendehl collection. It is complete all around and has a very pleasing offwhite color with sparkly luster. Valued...??? It's hard to say. Common smaller ones simply do not have this impact and it is large and in excellent condition.
