Item Description
A rarely seen Calcite specimen from the Bonney Mine (Banner Mine) in southwestern New Mexico featuring many sharp, well-formed, tapered scalenohedral crystals with a distinct soft pink hue measuring up to 2.4 cm on matrix. The crystals have good luster and moderate translucency when backlit. There are a few broken crystals, so the piece is not 100% perfect, but this is a rare locality specimen and a must have for any fan of Calcites or minerals from New Mexico.
