Item Description

A charming elongated "hedgehog" of lustrous glassy pink hued Calcite scalenohedron up to 2 cm. The gemmy transparent to translucent Calcite crystals just have a pleasing eye catching sparkle to them. The piece is in near pristine condition with only a couple of chipped tips of the over 100 crystals that make up the piece. A truly dazzling and delightful Calcite specimen. It is simply a sparkling specimen of calcite! While the calcite does not fluoresce the material underneath that the crystals are growing on has a slight yellow fluorescence showing through the calcite. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl.
