Item Description
Cacoxenite is an uncommon complex hydrated phosphate. Tiny tufts of golden-yellow needles are festooned on all sides of the sculptural limonite matrix. A rich, old-time and excellent example from this long-extinct iron mine in phosphorus-rich ore. From an East Coast collection and comes with a Hugh Ford label dating from 1946-57.
