Item Description

Buttgenbachite is a very rare secondary copper mineral. Here, the greenish-blue Buttgenbachite appears to be coating a dark-gray, bladed unknown. The specimen is richly coated, and a good piece for this rare species. Associated are several razor-sharp, translucent to gemmy Calcites, the largest of which is about 2 cm overall.
