Bustamite (RARE locality specimen)

Item Description

An incredibly hard to find historic Bustamite specimen from the lesser-known Meldon Quarry in Devon, England featuring an elongated prism of a rich pinkish-brown hue with good luster and defined striations on all sides. The top of the specimen is contacted, but the prism faces are all well-formed and complete. I can't recall ever having a piece of this material to offer, and there are very few examples online that can be found for comparison. If you collect minerals of Devon & Cornwall, or you're a fan of manganese minerals, this is something that you'll likely not find available on the market anytime soon, so don't miss out.
