Item Description
Bustamite is rare for the Kalahari district, and this is a rich specimen, with intense color. The soft pink hue is not pale... it's actually quite strongly colored for a pastel hue. The color is very similar to the rich pink Bustamite from the famous Franklin Mine, and the habit is a cross between Franklin's blocky crystals and the 'hairy' Bustamite from Broken Hill, Australia. A very fine specimen. Good fluorescence, too!
