Item Description

Broken Hill is an incredibly prodigious mineral locality where over 300 mineral species have been found. Many of these minerals are among the finest representations of their respective species. The best Bustamites ever found are those from Broken Hill, and these are true classics dating back many decades. This piece hosts many lustrous / vitreous, translucent, rich brownish-orange colored crystals of Bustamite measuring up to 1.3 cm sitting on a matrix composed of white Calcite and silvery-grey metallic Galena. Several crystals are terminated and look nice up close, but a good percentage of them or not complete. Still a rich example of this classic material.
