Item Description

Bultfonteinite is a rare hydrated calcium silicate and this is a superb, extremely rich and showy example of the species. Two, large botryoids of soft-to-the-touch, felt-like, brown, acicular bultfonteinite crystals are sprinkled with a second generation of much smaller botryoids. A few smaller botryoids have popped off, but his remains the richest and most dramatic example of this rarity from the famous N'Chwaning II Mine, that we have seen. Outstanding material from the Charlie Key dealer stock.
