Bultfonteinite, Calcite, Quartz on Manganite

Unusual and intriguing, this is really quite a marvelous combination piece from Wessels. Although tiny, the .1 cm Bultfonteinites populate different areas of the specimen, and these acicular clusters are quite appealing. There are Quartz crystals, gemmy Calcite crystals, Calcite cystals encasing Quartz crystals (very cool), Manganite matrix, and long bladed crystals of an unknown species that seem to have a thin coating of what looks like micro Kutnahorite. This is an inviting and interesting Wessels small cabinet piece.
