Item Description
I have had only one other of these exemplary and classic combinations that feature Olmiite (fluorescent!) and Bultfonteinite from the N'Chwaning II Mine in South Africa. The prismatic Olmiites reach up to .3 cm in length, with very sharp and uniform crystal habits. They are tan, lustrous, and have a beautiful deep red fluorescence. The fibrous Bultfonteinite needles reach up to .5 cm, and their white color and glistening pearly luster provide aesthetic and dramatic contrast with both the Olmiites and the chocolate-brown matrix. A superb combination specimen.
