Bultfonteinite

Item Description

Bultfonteinite is a rare silicate, most often found in the Kalahari Manganese Field. This very rich specimen contains a lovely series of radial aggregates covering nearly the entire upper surface of the matrix. The intergrown spheres, making a virtual carpet, range up to 6 mm across, and the luster is superb. The color ranges from silver to a pinkish-tan. Very delicate and aesthetic.
