Item Description
From a fairly new discovery in 2020 in Java, here we have a beautiful style of Agate that is locally referred to as "Bullseye Agate". The stone features a rich, saturated, orange-red core of translucent Agate (possibly Chalcedony) with a gorgeous banded pattern (best seen with backlighting) surrounded by a crystalline white Quartz exterior. If you backlight the stone, the very center is a light golden hue and quite gemmy. The stone almost reminds me of the cross-section of an egg, with a saturated dark yolk in the center. This is unique material, unlike anything I've seen before, and would make a great addition to any gem collection, or as the center stone for a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.
