Item Description
Recently in Balochistan, Pakistan some of the most colorful, attractive and fine quality examples of Brucite have been found. The fact that they have an incredibly rare YELLOW color, makes them all the more enticing. This particular hue of yellow is not terribly common in the mineral world. This cabinet specimen is a great display piece of this beautiful material. Attractive, lustrous, translucent, intense yellow (and white) colored groups of Brucite have formed free of matrix. The saturation of the yellow color is about a strong as it gets for this material, much stronger than many others on the market, and it plays nicely against the white areas of the piece. The alluring color combined with the noteworthy gemminess / translucency and flowing form of the Brucites make this a wonderful example of this unique material. There seems to be less and less of these specimens on the market recently, and typically these kind of discoveries don't produce a great number of piece so if you want one, don't miss out while they're available. Priced at $1,250 in the inventory.
