Item Description
Brucite is a mineral that has been found in many world localities, but often seen in muted hues. The recent finds in Balochistan, Pakistan have yielded what are some of the most colorful examples of Brucite ever seen. This piece is a big showy example of these fairly new and incredibly attractive yellow Brucites, which just showed up out of nowhere, and completely shocked mineral collectors for their fantastic intense hue. Without a doubt, they are among the most colorful examples of the species in the world. There is no other world locality that has produced such amazing lemon yellow color. This specimen features attractive, lustrous, translucent, rich yellow colored groups of Brucite measuring up to 2.5 cm across, on matrix. The fantastic color combined with the internal gemminess and wonderful radial form makes the piece highly desirable and eye-catching. Although there were many of these pieces on the market a few years ago, there seems to be less of them out there recently. Typically these kind of discoveries produce a limited number of pieces so don't miss out on picking up one if you want one.
