Item Description

Brucite is an uncommon magnesium hydroxide mineral, that been known for nearly 200 years (it was named in 1824 after Archibald Bruce). Most of the Brucite specimens you'll see from various localities are in the green to blue color range, but these attractive new yellow Brucites from Pakistan are among the most colorful examples of the species ever found. There is no other world locality that has produced such amazing lemon yellow color in the species. This small cabinet sized specimen features attractive, lustrous, translucent, rich yellow colored groups of Brucite with minor matrix. The fantastic color combined with the internal gemminess and wonderful radial form makes the piece highly desirable and eye-catching. Although there were many of these pieces on the market a few years ago, there seems to be less of them out there recently. Typically these kind of discoveries produce a limited number of pieces so don't miss out on picking up one if you want one.
