Brucite (rare rich yellow color)

Brucite is a magnesium hydroxide mineral, named posthumously in honor of the American Mineralogist, Archibald Bruce from New York in 1824. While the mineral is not considered rare, most specimens are fairly light / pastel in color. A few years ago, the Balochistan Province of Pakistan produced what are simply some of the most vividly colored examples of the species ever found. This is a beautiful miniature sized specimen of these rare attractive yellow Brucites. Brucite is not a species that experienced collectors and dealers associated with Pakistan, but one day these Brucites just showed up out of nowhere, and completely shocked everyone for their fantastic intense yellow hue. There is no other world locality that has produced such amazing yellow color Brucites. This specimen features fine quality, lustrous, gemmy, glowing yellow colored radial groups of Brucite, sitting on minor matrix. The fantastic color combined with the internal gemminess and wonderful radial form makes the piece highly desirable and eye-catching. Although there were many of these pieces on the market a few years ago, there seems to be less of them out there recently. Typically these kind of discoveries produce a limited number of pieces so don't miss out on picking up one if you want one.
