Brucite (excellent color and quality)

These beautiful Brucites from Pakistan are some of the most exciting new finds from any world locality in recent years. These pieces features a rare combination of fine quality, gemmy crystals with a very rare electric yellow color. They have become quite popular among collectors. This small cabinet display specimen features very attractive rounded, lustrous, translucent, gorgeous yellow colored crystals groups sitting on grey host rock matrix. As I mentioned, this is a rare color for Brucite, and with such wonderful internal gemminess when backlit, it's a very worthwhile specimen. My favorite aspect of this specimen is that at the topmost aspect of the piece, sits a wonderfully symmetrical, complete "sphere" of Brucite, one of the best-formed examples I've seen of this material, which measures 2.0 cm across. Originally, these were thought to be from Kharan, but we had a source tell us they're actually from Killa Saifullah District, so it's possible that the Brucites were brought to market in Kharan and errantly thought to be from there. Nonetheless, these are very attractive and worthwhile to add to your collection since there seems to be a limited amount on the market and typically these kind of discoveries don't produce a lot of material, so get them while you can.
