The Brucites from the recent finds in Balochistan, are some of the most colorful examples of the species extant, and the fact that they have an incredibly rare YELLOW color, makes them all the more enticing. It's important to note that this particular hue of yellow is not terribly common in the mineral world. This small cabinet specimen is a great display piece of this beautiful material features attractive, lustrous, translucent, intense yellow colored groups of Brucite sitting atop very minor matrix. The saturation of the color is good for the material, and it looks wonderful when backlit. The alluring color combined with the noteworthy gemminess and flowing form of the Brucites make this a wonderful example of this unique material. There seems to be less and less specimens on the market recently, and typically these kind of discoveries don't produce a great number of specimens, so if you want one, don't miss out while they're available.
