Item Description
The magnesium hydroxide Brucite is uncommon from Wessels, and these bladed crystals are considerably above average. There are actually two generations. The first is more a massive, tan colored Brucite with average luster. The second generation is a number of sharp, stacked, hexagonal blades that are gemmy. They are 3-4 mm across and have a superb, pearly luster. The associated Sturmanites are all super-gemmy, hexagonal pillows with a clear yellow color. The Sturmanites are in the 1-2 mm size range, and they sparkle like little canary diamonds. A fine combination specimen.
