Item Description

Brucite is definitely one of the lesser known species from the famous Nchwaning Mines, which arguably produced the finest rhodochrosites in the world. Brucite is an uncommon magnesium oxide. Sharp, lustrous, translucent, trigonal, variable yellow-green brucite crystals in spherical aggregates form an excellent and scuptural solid crust. Uncommon in this color and quality. Ex Al Ordway Collection and purchased from Demetrius Pohl, a well known African specialist and collector, in 1997.
