A large and elegant specimen of brucite from what is arguably the world's greatest locality for species now, showing unusual style, because it has two contrasting colors of brucite on the same piece...and in zones. How does that happen?! The hot yellow is so contrasted against sparkling ghostly white brucite, that the piece presents contrasts we normally do not see in the mineral world in anything. Although a lot of brucites came out - and still come out - from this productive area, this is distinct, different, special. It is glowing with color and not-color at the same time, and in contrast...not sure how else to describe the special visual impact. For all the world, it looks more like a kid's sno-cone ice treat with lemon soaking into the ice, more than a mineral. Comes with a custom base ($200) included. Valued at $2500-plus. From 2020 finds.
