Brookite on Quartz (excellent)

Item Description

A 2.6 cm, striated, lustrous, wedge-shaped terminated brookite crystal is artistically set on the edge of a dramatic 360-degree diverging cluster glassy quartz points. Back lighting reveals the gorgeous cherry-red translucence with black lines, typical of many specimens from the 2005-06 finds. The large quartz next to the brookite is 3.4 cm long. Complete all-around and pristine, except for the acceptable periphery wear on one side. These are clearly among the world's finest brookites, comparing favorably with classic Swiss pieces. This is a very fine and aesthetic combination.
