Brookite on Quartz (ex Obodda)

Item Description

This particular specimen features a 1.3 cm, good quality, sharp, lustrous, Brookite crystal group aesthetically sitting on Quartz matrix. The Brookite is mostly black, but shows a bit of a reddish hue when backlit. Matrix Brookite specimens are exceedingly difficult to obtain because the crystals don't stay on the matrix during collecting underground. This a wonderful specimen of a species that is not often seen in fine quality crystals like this. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Priced at $1000.
