Here we have a beautiful and highly aesthetic display specimen dating back to a find in the mid 2000s. These beautiful and fine quality Brookite specimens are some of the best "Alpine-type" Brookites from any world locality. They are unmistakably reminiscent of the finest TRUE ALPINE Brookite specimens from the Italian and Swiss Alps. It's important to stress that many of the Pakistani crystals are just as sharp, lustrous, gemmy and colorful, and often larger and better quality than their European counterparts. If these new specimens from Pakistan were found in the Italy or Switzerland, they would be worth thousands (!) of dollars apiece to knowledgeable collectors. That's how good they are. This particular specimen features a superb quality, sharp, lustrous, tabular, deep reddish-brown colored Brookite crystal aesthetically flaring off a pair of thin, doubly-terminated, colorless prismatic Quartz crystals, which show minor "Faden" (the German word for string) growth. The Brookite measures 1.6 cm long. No damage that I can find, and the piece is a complete "floater" with no point of attachment that I can find. An incredibly eye-catching example of this beautiful material.
