Brookite included in Quartz (RARE combo)

An adorable and RARE brookite and quartz small cabinet from Wanna, Pakistan. A 2.0 cm, lustrous, striated, tabular, brown Brookite crystal is partially hidden and attractively set in the striking quartz crystal matrix. Two parallel-growth, gemmy, tabular quartz crystals with sharp chisel terminations at the top dramatically dominate this sculptural specimen. The doubly terminated quartz crystal on the left is 4.3 cm long - the small bruise on the termination is certainly a minimal detraction. Wanna is much better known for superlative faden or "string" Quartz specimens. World-class Brookites come from the Kharan District of Balochistan, Pakistan. Ex Kurt Hefendehl Collection, a well-known German collector who amassed a world-wide collection of over 6000 pieces. A fine and RARE brookite and quartz combination from Wanna.
