Brookite (ex Obodda)

In the mid 2000s, we first started seeing these beautiful and fine quality Brookites coming out of Pakistan. These pieces come from "Alpine-type" deposits, and are quite similar to their European counterparts, but in most cases the Pakistani crystals are bigger and better quality, plus a most of them are on matrix. This particular specimen features a 1.3 cm, good quality, sharp, lustrous, Brookite crystal with Quartz aesthetically sitting on matrix. Matrix Brookite specimens are exceedingly difficult to obtain because the crystals don't stay on the matrix during collecting underground. This a good specimen of a species that is not often seen in fine quality crystals like this. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
