Item Description
From the find of the Fall of 2004. These brookite specimens are some of the finest quality "Alpine-type" brookites in the world. Reminiscent of the finest TRUE ALPINE brookite specimens from the Alps, these crystals are just as sharp, lustrous, gemmy and colorful. If these specimens from Pakistan were found in the Italy or Switzerland, they would be worth thousands! of dollars apiece to knowledgable collectors (if you could even get a European collector to part with one). That's how good they are. This thumnail is a very good quality, good-sized, sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy, flame red-orange color with a striking black "phantom" inside, that look like a tornado funnel or an old-time wire rug beater. A wonderful and colorful specimen of a species that is not often seen in fine quality crystals like this. Ex Herb Obboda specimen. Valued at $900.
