Classic, brilliant metallic-black, orthorhombic brookite crystals are jauntily perched on matrix with sharp quartz crystals on this showy and excellent specimen from the famous mines at Magnet Cover, Arkansas. The primary crystal is a very large 2.0 cm. What looks to be a ding on the large brookite is a natural impression or contact with no damage. Slight edgewear on the smaller brookite is noted, but is certainly a very modest detraction. SUPERB QUALITY AND luster.
