From the find of the Fall of 2004. These Brookite specimens are some of the finest quality "Alpine-type" Brookites in the world. This particular specimen is a notably LARGE, good quality, sharp, lustrous, Brookite crystal group with a rich burnt-orange color free of matrix. Brookite crystals of this size are exceedingly difficult to obtain from any world locality. If this piece was from Italy or Switzerland, it would be worth a great deal as they are rarely seen in this size for kleft deposits This a wonderful and colorful specimen of a species that is not often seen in fine quality crystals like this.
