Item Description
At first glance it would be very easy to convince yourself that this nice combination was from Morocco but it is an old old piece from the well-known Blanchard Mine in NM. Featured is a nicely-formed, purpley-blue, 1 cm cube of Fluorite that displays well against the quartzy matrix. Accenting the Fluorite are these gorgeous sprays of needle-like brochantite that are a sharp, electric green. There placement against and below the Fluorite could not be any better. This is an excellent miniature with good aesthetics highlighted by the uncommon association that has such vivid visual contrasts.
