Mineral specimens from this obscure open pit copper mine, operated during the 1930s and 40s, and not fully exploited are rare and are very seldom on the market. Brochantite specimens are extremely rare. Emerald-green sprays of highly chatoyant needles fill the striking large vug in starkly contrasting gossan matrix. The dramatic color variation and scupltural quality of this piece make for an exceptional and very uncommon specimen. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $150, for free.
