Item Description

Scintillating, emerald-green to dark forest-green, brochantite microcrystals cover the sculptural matrix on this very showy specimen from the less well-known Douglas Hill Mine of Nevada. Some of the brochantite is gemmy, especially the emerald-green crystals! The mine produces copper. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Highly representative of the species and locale and seldom available. Ex Wes Parker Collection and from an early 1990s find here, I am told.
