Item Description

Scintillating, gemmy, emerald-green to dark green brochantite lathes to about 5 mm are festooned on three sides of the sturdy gossan matrix on this striking, colorful and excellent large specimen from Bou Bekker. Scattered radiating clusters of malachite crystals are a nice accent. The bit of noted periphery wear is a modest detraction to this very rich piece from the late 1980s finds.
