Item Description

Mineral specimens from this older Chilean porphyry copper mine are rare and are seldom on the market. The robust, sculptural gossan matrix hosts plentiful colorful crystals of green brochantite in numerous vugs. The striking, iridescent, electric-green brochantite crystals are long, tapering, hair-like crystals in diverging sprays. They look beautiful under magnification.
