Brochantite and chalcocite are VERY RARE from the famous Sterling Mine. To find both associated together is unheard of. Emerald-green brochantite microcrystals richly cover the front of the massive chalcocite ore, which includes both fluorescent calcite and willemite. Exceptionally rare combination material. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. He was very particular about his mineral identifications and had access to sophisticated analysis equipment.
