AN EXCEPTIONAL, rare locality piece! This is from the old Grandview Mine which today is located within the Grand Canyon park system and is no longer even remotely accessible to collecting. According to MINDAT, it was discovered 1890: First production was 1893 and the last was 1916. Seldom do we see anything from here any more! This is a very rich piece with intense deep color, and sparkling, micro crystallized brochantite in discrete crystals upon massive brochantite matrix. Very pretty, and a very rich specimen from this old classic locale. valued $500-750
