Brochantite & Calcite (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

A showy, old-time and rich Bisbee combination specimen of numerous vugs lined with highly lustrous, emerald-green sprays and gemmy needles of brochantite accented with copper-included calcite in brecciated, massive cuprite-rich matrix. Scattered bruising is noted, but this remains a rich, highly representative and colorful combination from this famous locale. Undoubtably older brochantite for Bisbee, but no proof. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and formerly in the Ralph Dietz Collection, according to Bob's label.
