Item Description
A lovely and colorful small cabinet sized specimen from the Mex-Tex Mine in New Mexico, featuring acicular "sprays" of green Brochantite on matrix. Upon close inspection, I can see tiny rich blue spots of Spangolite, and light tan colored aggregates of what looks like Mimetite, but the species is not reported from this mine (possibly Pyromorphite??). The crystal are best seen under magnification, and we've photographed them with a macro lens to better illustrate the quality. A really attractive piece from this classic New Mexico locality.
