Briartite & Renierite ex. Frech Coll.

Item Description

Renierite and briartite are very rare complex Germanium sulfosalts, rare species for which Tsumeb is renowned. Tsumeb is not the Type Locality for these two. Both sides of the thumbnail wedge are richly covered with lustrous orange-bronze renierite and small patches of dull gray briartite. Briartite is VERY RARE from Tsumeb! Excellent, rich and highly representative combination material from the Will Frech Tsumeb Collection, handled through Carter Rich about a decade ago.
