Brewsterite (rare zeolite)

Item Description

Sparkly, gemmy to translucent, light pink to coloress crystals of the RARE barium, strontium zeolite brewsterite from Yellow Lake, British Columbia, Canada. A fine specimen, with nice form and particularly gemmy for the species. The striking side view shows that the brewsterite crystals are coating and casting, sharp, dissolved crystals, probably calcite or analcime. The bit of matrix is a nice accent. Very rare material of this quality. Valued at $100.
