Item Description
A very unusual combination specimen from the Telerio mine in Brazil consisting of brazilianite with cassiterite, both finely crystallized! It features lustrous, yellow-green, partly gemmy, prismatic crystals of brazilianite to 3cm hosted by off-white albite and accented with black, adamantine, clusters of cassiterite crystals with minor muscovite on the bottom . The brazilianite-cassiterite association is NOT commonly observed from Telirio - or anywhere. I cannot recall seeing another. A very important locality specimen! Ex. Paulo Matioli collection.
