Item Description
Brazilianite is an uncommon phosphate mineral, most notably found in a few localities in Brazil, but it's fairly rare from the majority of the rest of world localities This piece is an excellent older specimen dating back a few decades, featuring many sharp, well-formed, very lustrous, translucent, monoclinic, prismatic yellow-green crystals of Brazilianite measuring up to 3.6 cm long aesthetically sitting on partially etched, off-white colored Albite matrix. Great quality, and very showy, and a rather good sized group for the species. From the collection of Brian Kosnar, valued at $2,400.
