Item Description

Brazilianite specimens are uncommon from this less well-known Minas Gerais pegamatite area, better known for outstanding eosphorite specimens. The tabular crystal form with chisel terminations are distinctive to this locale. The glassy, yellow-green crystals are gemmy, transparent to translucent and have high luster. Crystals reach 1.8 cm on this aesthetic, excellent and rare, two-sided piece. Ex Cynthia Payne Collection.
