Item Description

A sharp, gemmy, yellow-green euhedral brazilianite crystal with glassy and bright luster from the famous namesake Type Locality. The front is mostly pristine and the contacting on the back, one side and base have little actual damage and is mostly out-of-sight. This very fine miniature is from the original finds of the 1940s and are valued highly. This is a gorgeous, classic crystal with the unique color form those old finds that has not been equaled since! 42 grams mass, so a nice sized miniature with some cutting value, as well. Valued $1500-2000. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!! Difficult to photograph, due to the glassiness and gemminess.
