Item Description

Brandtite is a fairly rare hydrated Arsenate that is only found in a little over a dozen world localities. This piece features dozens of classic, small (approx 0.5 mm), sharp, gemmy, lustrous, colorless, prismatic crystals of Brandtite on matrix. Brandtite is one of the more highly sought after species for Franklin collectors, and good specimens are few and far between on the market these days. One of the few specimens of this well species from Franklin that I have offered. From the well known New Jersey collection of Richard A. Kosnar.
