Brachiopod Fossil

Item Description

An attractive Brachiopod fossil from a roadcut along highway 150 in Washington County, Kentucky. I don't know specifically where along the highway the piece was found, but Brachiopod fossils have been reported from several places in Washington County, including the Nally - Gibson Quarry in Springfield. There are actually multiple fossils featured on this specimen, the largest of which measures 3.5 cm.
